Lake District Walks

As you can image there are a great many walks for you to enjoy whilst holidaying in the Lake District. Walks to suit all abilities from easy river side strolls to the more serious mountain climbs.  There are to many to mention but a number of web sites provide lots of information and guided walks that can be downloaded.

Some examples are below.

The local shops sell guided walking books and you even have the option to book and join a guided walk.

Words of caution though, always remember that fell walking is an activity with a danger of personal injury or even death. Always be responsible, check your route before departure and navigate using a map and compass where necessary. The appropriate clothing and equipment is essential as the weather can change in an instant and the terrain challenging.
